Show hints

Check this box to see short messages describing the program items indicated by the cursor.

Show numeric positions

Check this box to see the position/length of the samples in the grid displayed within the sample icon.

Allow dropping last used sample

When checked, the sample that is selected in the sample window (window to the left of the grid) can be placed anywhere in the grid by left-clicking the mouse.

Auto reload samples

Check this box to automatically update the samples in a song when changes are made.

Minimise on app launch

Minimises this program interface when the WAV or sample editor is launched.

Auto close DirectSound

Only change this setting if you encounter problems. It closes DirectSound when there is a timing error in the application. This only works within the WAV editor. The song will no longer be played once you have exited.

Save song when collecting

Check this box to save the song (.FTR file)together with the samples when using the Collect Samples option.

Associate .FTR files

Clicking on this button associates .FTR-files (songs) with this program. This means that when you click on a file with an .FTR extension in Windows Explorer this FruityTracks app will start automatically.
