New

Opens a new song. If  a song is already open this allows you to save it.

Open (CTRL+O)

Opens a previously saved song.

There are some songs on the CD located in the directory "Songs" with the extension .ftr.

Samples which are not found are marked in red in the sample window.

Save

To save the currently opened song. If the song has not been saved yet the program will suggest 'untitled.ftr' as a default filename but it's recomended to give it a better name.

Save as ...

Saves the currently opened song under another name or in another directory.

Collect samples ...

Collects all the samples used by the current song into any specified directory so that they are all gathered together if you plan to package them all at once. In the Settings Menu, under General settings you can specify if the .ftr file will be saved at the same time or not.

Make WAV file...

Converts a whole song and its samples into one .WAV file. Note that .WAV files can be quite big (about 10 megabytes for 1 minute of music).

Is not available for non-registered users. You should order a registration. Check Register.

Record sample

With this option you can record your own .WAV files. First, indicate the length of the recording (in bars) then specify the tempo. Estimating the tempo can be done by pressing the "T"-key on the keyboard. Once this is done you can start recording.

The saved sounds are located between two red lines. These lines can be adjusted by left-clicking on them and dragging them with the mouse pointer. The recording length can only be reduced after recording (to fewer bars).

Use this function only after hours of fun.
