When you hit Ctrl+V of choose for Visual Effects in this menu, u choose wether you will see the audio samples on the grid or the video/light show.

When the grid is in video/lightshow mode a video lightshow will be displayed to accompany the songs.

After one bar of music the video/lightshow will change randomly.  Right-click in the grid to display the menu. You have two options : Lightshow & Video

Lighshow

This lightshow generates light effects randomly.

Suboptions here are :

Enable : enable the light show

Full size: show lightshow in full screen

Half size: show lightshow in half screen

Quarter size: show lightshow in quarter screen

Low res: shows low res version of lightshow

Video

This video feature shows a video while the music is playing. This video randomly changes after every bar of music.

Suboptions are :

Moving: moving makes the video appear in a different place every time it changes

Full screen:

Choose avi: choose avi gives you a choice of the videos in the video directory (none in the download version). You can also make your own videos. Add your own .AVI to the video directory and make link .SCR file. Do not forget to give this .SCR file the same name as your .AVI file. An AVI file without a link .SCR file cannot be executed because this file defines the switchpoints for the .AVI file.

Tip : How to make an AVI of your own ?

- Choose the .AVI file you wish to use and put it in the video directory.

- Create a.SCR file with the same name as your .AVI file in the video directory.

Proceed as follows:

* a .SCR file is in fact a .TXT file. For convenience you take an already existing .SCR and modify it. You will find .SCR files in of the Pro DJ video directory. Open the .SCR file using an application that is able to read .TXT files.

* The numbers after "DefineKF=" are the switchpoints in the video. A switchpoint must start with a keyframe.

* In a program such as "videdit" you can check where such keyframes are located in your .AVI file (these are marked with a "K").

* If you defined the switches in the .SCR file and save the file in the video directory, the video can be played.
