Tempo

Specifies the BPMs (beats per minute) of the samples and loops for the current song . The default tempo is 140 BPM and most samples on the CD are in this tempo. The tempo of samples already in the grid cannot be altered. The new tempo will only apply to samples added after the tempo is changed.

Main Volume: the main volume of the song.

Initial volume : defines the initial volume of each samples that is dropped from the samples browser on the grid from.

eg. If you put this on 80% than every sample dropped on the grid will have an initial volume of 80%.
